This is the easiest way I've found to cook peach cobbler. My step-dad loves this dish especially right out of the oven with vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1 3/4 cups sugar
1 1/2 cups milk
2 - 3 Tbsp. butter (melted)
cinnamon
1 lg can of sliced peaches(drained) (or 2-3 fresh peaches skinned and cut up in to quarters)
Heat your oven to 350 degrees
Using a 13 x 9 baking dish, spray with cooking oil or smear with shortening. In a bowl, combine all ingredients except the cinnamon. Mix well then pour into the baking dish. Sprinkle the top with cinnamon and pop in the oven. Cook for about 35-40 minutes. You don't want the cobbler to be to dry so watch it. Serve it hot with a side of vanilla ice cream. MMMMM! Good. Enjoy!
